Historic town visits, mountain drives, mountain biking, leisure and water parks, sailing, water sports, scenic tours, coastal boat trips, go-carting, boat hire, fishing trips, horse riding, scenic walks.
For the less energetic relaxing in the sun near the pool or on one of the many beaches with a good book is a lovely way to spend a day. Also the weekly markets are worth an hour or two to explore the artefacts on display.
A rich diversity of flora and fauna and five outstanding nature reserves offers excellent opportunities for bird watching and botanical observation.
Shopping trips to many of the major shopping centres in the area are all part of the Algarve experience.
